I could send you pics of a properly wired single coil if it would help. Also, the changer is technically grounded to the jack through the endplate, but sometimes the connection can get wonky ...

Hi Angus,
What kind of noise does it make? Original single coils do have a hum and get louder as you press the pedal. Is it that or some sort of loud buzz all the time?

Try testing the pickup with an ohm meter, if the reading is inconsistent or bouncing around it may be failing. If it's otherwise healthy your power supply may be an issue, especially if you have somet ...

That is indeed a mid to late 70's model. As for the sound, you're unlikely to get the tone they're famous for with anything less than an original style single coil pickup, as humbuckers tend to squish ...

Hi Dave I had the Telonics in my Twin custom 65 but chnaged it to the Travis Toy 15.
