I am anticipating having to fill in the small holes in the back of the headstock and having to re-drill for mounting new tuners.

Toothpicks and white glue to fill the small holes? Or is there a bet ...

Just wondering if anyone might know if the Beard Resonator Cone (10-9/16" diameter, 1-13/32 deep) will drop right into a Crafters Tut Taylor Tennessean square neck.

Thanks

I use the Electro-Harmonix Hum DeBugger. Yes, it changes the sound a bit; but in some cases that is preferable to the nasty, ugly, unmusical hum. Makes single coils usable in a bad hum environment.

Microphone placement is the essence of the "art" of sound reinforcement and recording. There is no "one size fits all" spot for mic placement. It's a matter of context.

I'm wondering whether the n ...

SWR Workingman's 15 doesn't hold a candle to the Basic Black. It's way too heavy, and doesn't sound as good. The LA 15 is even worse.

Prices for Rickenbachers have been dropping on eBay. Six months ago, a 1935 would cost you $1800. Today, someone got an early '40s one for $550.
