Frank, it will probably depend on what the Franklin sets me back. I'd love to keep the Sho Bud if I can.

I'd love to find a Franklin steel in any neck configuration: single E9, SD, or D-10. I know that they're getting harder to come by, but I'm giving it a shot.

Hey friends. Sorry for my ignorance. It seems the hybrid qualities do have to do with the combination wood and metal body.

In corresponding with Dawn Jackson, I get the impression that it's a metal neck on a wood body -- hence the "hybrid."
